This material has been prepared and compiled to serve as a helpful guide for new members of the Board of Directors of The American Radio Relay League, Inc., and as a working tool for all Directors. It carries out an instruction of the Board (Minute 62, 1973 Annual Meeting) jointly to the Administration & Finance Committee and the Chief Executive Officer.
In addition to the basic Articles of Association and the By-Laws, it contains general background information of the League management structure as well as the organization of the Headquarters office and staff, plus summaries of basic policies and procedures either officially established or regularly observed through long custom. It is in looseleaf form so that supplements and replacements may be used from time to time to keep it up to date.
