The Verde Valley Amateur Radio Association is a ham radio club located in the Verde Valley and Prescott areas of north-central Arizona. The club owns and operates four amateur radio repeaters. Two are located on Porcupine Mountain about 28 miles south of Sedona and 70 miles north of Phoenix. The other two are on Mingus Mountain which is midway between Cottonwood (Verde Valley) and Prescott.
The annual dues for club membership is $20. While membership is not required for use of the repeaters or attending monthly meetings, the dues help pay the cost of operation and maintenance of the repeaters and the cost of our meeting locations. - Links:
