The Arkansas River Valley Amateur Radio Foundation has a very simple mission.   We promote and educate the local communities about Amateur Radio.   We are prepared in a state of readiness.  ARVARF Club Members are ready to go for both emergency and non-emergency events.  And we help promote diverse activities within the Amateur Radio Community.

We accomplish our goals by teaching Amateur Radio Classes.  Our next class will be for the Amateur Radio Technician License in the fall of 2022.   We have local Training Nets Every Tuesday night on the Mt. Nebo Repeater, 146.82 MHz Receive, PL 131.8 Hz.  ARVARF Activates a Weather Net anytime threatening Weather is in the Arkansas River Valley. 

During our regular scheduled meetings we usually have a program of interest to the Amateur Radio Community.  These programs include Antenna Design and Modeling.  Training on how to set up and use Log Book Of The World.  Feedline characteristics and uses with respect to Amateur Radio Operations.

Before every meeting on the Third Tuesday of each month we offer all Classes of Amateur Radio Exams starting at 4PM Local Time.  And we also offer Online Exams most Wednesdays at 2PM Local Time.
