The Viking Amateur Radio Soceity was first started by the employees at the EF Johnson plant. The club was only for EFJ employees, because the club station was inside the plant near the engineering dept., later the club was reorganized and was open to any licensed amateur or intrested party.
The EFJ company no longer exist in Waseca, MN but a group of hams continue to meet regularly. We welcome all amateurs and those interested in activities listed and ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services)
