As part of the Saginaw Valley Amuture Radio Association we are a general intrest club that helps to support our local community, assist with public service events and provide communication support for county emergency services.
We provide monthly meetings for our members and mentoring of new hams.
The county had multiple 2-meter, UhF, 220, 6-meter, DMR, and D-Star repeaters plus a multi-frequency Winlink node for club member and general ham use. Our primary repeater is 147.240 (PL 103.5).
We are also a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The club also utilizes the call sign KD8KDP for use for emergency services.
