The Queen City Emergency Net serves the amateur radio communications needs of the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Club meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:30pm. We meet at the Red Cross Chapter (at 2111 Dana Ave. in Cincinnati) unless otherwise announced. Talk-in on 147.24+ (with PL 123 Hz to keep out noise, not people.) *zoom meeting details are available to anyone with a genuine interest in the hobby/club!*
The club net meets at 9pm every Tuesday (on 147.24+, PL 123 Hz.) Announcements and "traffic" are passed, followed by an optional round of informal comments. The repeater is sometimes linked to 442.7+ (PL 123 Hz) for the duration of the net.
